Our new client is currently in the process of opening their second branch. They have undertaken extensive building works in their new premises, in particular the opening out of a wall with structural steel to form a new fridge area. With Mortuary Solutions guidance and precision CAD drawings, to aid and assist the builders, we made a bespoke height fridge to work in the limited head room height available.

We were able to improve the fridge height by advising the client we could install the fridge behind the opening height, were it was possible to raise the ceiling. Doing so meant we could improve the height for the 3 tier fridge and instead of using stub rollers only (only suitable for trays), we were able to offer generous heights with full width rollers, compatible for coffins and rollers.

By setting the cabinet back in the space means there is now also valuable storage space to the left and right of the cabinet, which would have been closed off if built into the opening.

Being in a residential area with a flat over the funeral home, we opted for a premium low noise condenser.
