Oxfordshire new fridge and relocation

Funeral fridge

After supplying our customer a 2 door fridge in only July last year, their capacity requirements from this branch dramatically increased! No problem, we have swapped it out for a new 4 door cabinet that fills the space nicely. 3 semi obese and 1 obese door, double framing 2x doors to save our already space saving design by a further 100mm to ensure it fits the space! Many of the competition would not even be able to put 4 doors in semi obese and would have to compromise for smaller doors because of their non mortuary designed, oversized panels and frames! Why compromise deal with Mortuary Solutions the specialists in our field!

We then relocated the 2 door original fridge to their other branch. Mortuary Solutions cabinets don’t have mastic glues, screws, bolts, rivets, silicones, trims, coves etc. for the construction of our cabinets and we use corrosion resistant cam locks!  While some competitors also use cam locks, they aren’t generally corrosion resistant (trust us, we’ve had to angle grind competitors corroded cam locks to take panels apart) and because their panels are poor square edge panels (poor thermal bridge gaps) they then blob the panels with silicone or mastic.

Our fridge’s can be taken up and down multiple times with no ill effects, so much so we can offer to buy back a mortuary solutions fridge! We often remove/relocate competitors fridges but always have to caveat that they likely wont go back up perfectly because of all the fixings they have to use and/or poor grade panel construction!

Picture this scenario, a couple of years ago we part exchanged a customer who bought a new 2 door fridge from us and we took his 4 year old, 1 door fridge supplied by a competitor!  We thought was a reasonably new and therefore safe part exchange! How wrong were we! As we took the panels apart the silicone they used to install, tore great chunks of installation out between the panels, despite us being extremely careful! Others might tell you you can take their fridges down, but take it with a pinch of salt!

Suffice to say it rendered the cabinet useless and we had to skip it! That was an expensive mistake, never the less we honored the part exchange but learnt a valuable & reinforced lesson that even relatively new competitor fridge’s are still poor quality and not worth the hassle!
