A client had acquired a funeral business in Scarborough, after been messed around by another supplier the client got frustrated and asked if we could help.

The previous set up was very impractical with an old Chinese imported fridge that wasn’t working properly, it was very limiting on size of bodies it could handle and the fact they had to swivel the fridge inline with a door opening and use a trolley part way through their chapel to load/unload! They needed additional capacity and a fridge that could take larger patients.

The room was not practical and we helped guide the client with CAD drawings to show that a store wall had to be removed to have sufficient space for the fridge and loading area.

Having tenants in the flat above and conscious of noise, we selected and installed a low noise, premium J&E Hall condenser.

In addition we supplied an embalming sinks (being fitted by the plumber post our install) and a combination trolley with tray tilt to use for loading the fridge and as an embalming/washing/dressing trolley.
