18months in the making from quote, building extension to our install.  Taking initial concept plans of a funeral homes extension, we designed the room layout to consist of a 3 bay fridge, holding room chiller unit for extra capacity during peak times, double embalming station combination sinks and sluice with 2no. embalming tables and stacking trolley.

A simple redesign using our vast experience saw us change the orientation of the fridges to face the doors into the room for direct and ease of loading, having the orientation this way also means staff don’t have to disturb the embalmers at work by asking them to move out of the way to access the fridge with a trolley, originally our customers initial plans were for the fridge to face the embalming station. A simple but very effective design you may think, but often others don’t necessarily best plan user functions and work flows.
